Your contributions enable us to provide a welcoming, educational experience for families, youth, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a beautiful camp setting. All donations are tax deductable. Those donating $75 or more will receive a Camp t-shirt.
Here are some options for giving:
SPONSOR A CAMPER!
Over the years we’ve learned that most everyone would LOVE to come to camp, however many simply don’t have the means to. Consider making a donation to our Scholarship Fund. You can choose to sponsor a youth camper or an adult with intellectual or developmental disabilities camper.
SUPPORT A STAFFER!
Camp is in constant need of volunteer staff, especially to help care for our campers with ID/DD. In general, it costs camp $100 to feed and house each volunteer. By sponsoring staff, you are helping Camp to care for its volunteers as well as hire outside specialty staff such as nurses, caretakers, and educational support staff.
ADOPT A CABIN!
We’re bringing back a camp tradition! Do you have a favorite campsite or cabin? We want keep that cabin current, clean, and cozy. This means we need to replace lighting, tile, and plumbing fixtures. We need energy efficient heating and AC units, updated furniture, and linens. Cabins need decks sealed, walls painted, and mattresses repaired.
SUPER SPECIAL PROJECTS!
Most funding goes to daily operations, but special projects help make larger needed changes to camp infrastructure, programming or aesthetics. This year, one of our main projects rebuilding our dock to provide safer access to the water for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as provide easier access for launching kayaks and canoes and providing waterfront education.
POWER UP PROGRAMMING!
Lifejackets, markers, paint, climbing gear, archery, boating supplies, games, music, sporting equipment – all the “fun” stuff a camp has to offer. Donations to Programming support the fun!
GO-GO GENERAL FUNDS!
Operating funds are the unsung hero. It’s not a catchy way to donate. It’s hard to ask people to help pay for sewer repair, electricity bills, and daily maintenance. Yet, it’s the little, and constant necessities of running a summer camp – or any business. So, if you just want to help, but you can’t decide how or where to donate, then here’s the place for you.
